other stars complained<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Stefanos Tsitsipas will also be in action, while home favourite Thanasi Kokkinakis has received a wildcard.<\/p>\n<h2>What ranking points are on offer?<\/h2>\n<p>As per any ATP 250-level tournament, this year\u2019s men\u2019s singles champion in Adelaide will take home <strong>250 ranking points<\/strong> after their triumph.<\/p>\n<p>A further <strong>165 ranking points<\/strong> will be awarded to the tournament runner-up, with <strong>100 ranking points<\/strong> on offer to the two beaten semi-finalists.<\/p>\n<p>Each beaten quarter-finalist will earn <strong>50 ranking points<\/strong>, while the players who exit in round two will be awarded <strong>25 ranking points<\/strong> \u2014 though there will be <strong>zero ranking points<\/strong> for anyone beaten in round one.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Champion<\/strong>: 250 points<br \/>\n<strong>Runner-up<\/strong>: 165 points<br \/>\n<strong>Semi-finalists<\/strong>: 100 points<br \/>\n<strong>Quarter-finalists<\/strong>: 50 points<br \/>\n<strong>Round 2<\/strong>: 25 points<br \/>\n<strong>Round 1<\/strong>: Zero points<\/p>\n<h2>What prize money is on offer?<\/h2>\n<p>As per the ATP Tour website, this year\u2019s men\u2019s singles champion will be awarded <strong>$106,490<\/strong> for their triumph in Adelaide.<\/p>\n<p>That is a slight increase from 2025, when champion Felix Auger-Aliassime was awarded <strong>$103,525<\/strong> for his victory.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s beaten finalist will take home <strong>$62,115<\/strong> in winnings, while the two semi-finalists will earn $36,520 in prize money.<\/p>\n<p>Quarter-finalists will take home<strong> $21,155<\/strong>, with players beaten in round two earning <strong>$21,155<\/strong>, and those who fall in round one earning <strong>$7,510<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Champion<\/strong>: $106,490<br \/>\n<strong>Runner-up<\/strong>: $62,115<br \/>\n<strong>Semi-finalists<\/strong>: $36,520<br \/>\n<strong>Quarter-finalists<\/strong>: $21,155<br \/>\n<strong>Round 2<\/strong>: $12,285<br \/>\n<strong>Round 1<\/strong>: $7,510<\/p>\n<h2>Key dates<\/h2>\n<p>Main draw action in Adelaide is set to take place from January 12-17, with the tournament finishing one day before the start of the Australian Open.<\/p>\n<p>The men\u2019s singles quarter-finals are set to take place on January 15, with the semi-finals on January 16, and the championship match on Saturday, January 17;
