Ben Shelton saved three match points to beat fellow American Taylor Fritz in the Dallas Open final to win his fourth career title and with it came a handy cheque and a good haul of points.<\/p>\n
Playing in his sixth ATP Tour singles final, Shelton found himself up against in the 10th game of the deciding set as he faced three match points, but saved them all and then broke in the next game.<\/p>\n
The 23-year-old then came out to serve for the match, but this time Fritz saved two match points before Shelton got the job done on match point number three for a 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 victory.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis was a crazy match to be part of,\u201d Shelton said during the trophy presentation ceremony.<\/p>\n
