Raducanu as absences pile up"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Miami Open has gotten off to a rather disrupted start in 2026, with heavy rain delays across the opening days of action and a string of big-name withdrawals from the tournament.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tennis-features\/miami-open-2026-withdrawal-list-novak-djokovic-emma-raducanu\">As of Tuesday (March 17), 20 players had withdrawn from the men\u2019s and women\u2019s singles draws<\/a>, and that number has risen to 21 following ATP world No 5 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/lorenzo-musetti\">Lorenzo Musetti\u2019s<\/a> decision to pull out of the event on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n<p>Here, we round up every single player who has now withdrawn from the combined ATP and WTA 1000 event, with some high-profile stars not in action in Miami this fortnight.<\/p>\n<h2>Tennis News<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tennis-features\/emma-raducanu-injury-biggest-problem-helath-withdrawal\">Emma Raducanu\u2019s biggest problem continues to haunt her and she needs to find an answer quickly<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tennis-features\/atp-miami-open-predictions-2026-jannik-sinner-carlos-alcaraz-daniil-medvedev\">ATP Miami Open Predictions: Carlos Alcaraz vs Jannik Sinner, Daniil Medvedev continues resurgence<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>ATP Tour withdrawal list<\/h2>\n<p>World No 5 and two-time Grand Slam semi-finalist Musetti was set to be the fourth seed in Miami, though he withdrew after the draw was made.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/australian-open\/australian-open-novak-djokovic-makes-confession-lorenzo-musetti-heartbreak\">The Italian was forced to retire injured against Novak Djokovic in the Australian Open quarter-final back in January<\/a>, and did not return to action until Indian Wells two weeks ago \u2014 though he was beaten in his opening match.<\/p>\n<p>Musetti is now out of Miami and is likely prioritising the clay swing, where he has big points to defend, with a lucky loser set to replace him;
