The German has lost all three of his major finals, with Dominic Thiem, Carlos Alcaraz, and Jannik Sinner<\/a> all pipping him to the post.<\/p>\n However, Thiem is now retired, and Alcaraz<\/a> and Sinner are both out of this year\u2019s French Open. Indeed, he can stand too far behind the baseline and play too passive.<\/p>\n And even if he comes out on top this weekend, and finally wins his first major, Agassi<\/a> wants to see a more proactive and aggressive German going forward.<\/p>\n He said on TNT Sports US<\/a>, \u201cIf he\u2019s going to change that, he needs to show me he\u2019s willing to make changes in his game that point towards improving. And that\u2019s one thing that I\u2019ve been a little frustrated with.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve watched some of the play of Sascha now for years, and it\u2019s like he\u2019s been very stubborn is the way he chooses to go about his game because he believes somewhere along the line it\u2019s good enough to beat these guys.<\/p>\n \u201cThese guys aren\u2019t here. He has to make sure that his game is good enough to beat the rest of these guys. I think he believes it can.<\/p>\n \u201cBut if he wants to be in that neighbourhood and that altitude, he needs to work on things that\u2019ll make him that\u2019ll make him a better player regardless if he wins this tournament or not.<\/p>\n \u201cOne of the downsides that I see happening as he wins this tournament and settles into the same kind of tennis.
