Boris Becker has been perplexed by the lack of hype Learner Tien is receiving for his stellar work on the ATP Tour this season.<\/p>\n
The American star claimed his first title of the year at the Geneva Open, and he also reached the final of the Del Ray Open earlier this season.<\/p>\n
He\u2019s produced some impressive runs at the Australian Open and Indian Wells, both of which saw him reach the quarter finals of the illustrious events.<\/p>\n
At the Canadian Open, meanwhile, he has confirmed another quarter final appearance by defeating Gael Monfils, Tommy Paul, Thiago Agustin Tirante to set up a last eight meeting with Daniel Merida.<\/p>\n
After his performances in 2026, Becker believes Tien does not get the credit he deserves from experts in the game.<\/p>\n

He is the real deal, expect big things from him in the near future!\u201d<\/p>\n Tien made his top 20 debut earlier this year and he currently sits at world No 17 in the ATP Tour<\/a> rankings.<\/p>\n He sits close to the likes of Rafael Jodar<\/a>, Arthur Fils<\/a>, and Joao Fonseca<\/a>, all of whom seem to receive more hype and excitement than the young American.<\/p>\n Tien has claimed two ATP titles in his career already, in Geneva and the Moselle Open.
